Hey guys, I want to try out some good VST Delay or Reverb plugins which gives the best quality and options, any recommendations please? The main fx I want is to repeat the snare beats as many times as possible.
I am currently trying out the Space Echo plugin by Audio Thing which sounds great but want to look at others before purchasing.

Valhalla Room does most of the work, but I use Aether for really big verbs.
Delays I use Echoboy , is now my goto.

Don't trust those with words of weakness, they are the most aggressive

recent reverb for me is raum.
or still loving "dark star 2" a reaktor ensemble.
delays i like "character" so id suggest wires or reels from audiothing as something a bit different than basic delay.
also texture, by audiothing is a nice simple reverb.

Before I go any further please clarify one thing for me guys since I have been getting different answers from different people.
if you can look at this video please and skip to the 18 second mark

the snare beat repeats many times. that is what I want. now exactly what is that effect called, is it an echo, a delay or reverb so I will know exactly which plugin I should get?
Then please confirm which controls actually give that effect, the delay time and feedback set long?

It's an analog delay (BBD) with the delay set at around 300 ms and a very high feedback setting. And in the feedback loop the high frequencies are being cut off making it sound progressively darker.
Bucket-500 does this type of delay with breaking up feedback quite well.

You could try this free one first:
