do I have to install a new reg key to make it work properly?

yes, it's pretty straightforward:
install v.5
go to website
log on using username/password (under my FL)
save new regkey somewhere safe.
(important)
Right click on new regkey and select merge, and you will be registered in both the new and old versions.

Anyone else having trouble using FL5 in VSTi mode? The channel meters are flickering like it is getting the MIDI data, but no sound is coming out. Is it just me?

Sorry if this has already been asked before, but is Sytrus free now? It says it is available as a download from the "My FL Studio" page, but I don't see it anywhere.
