I'd like to introduce my first sample library "Guitar Kitchen Vol. 1" to you:

What it is
Guitar Kitchen Vol. 1 is an acoustic guitar loops sample library consisting of 9 songs. The focus of this sample library is on indie singer-songwriter style music. It is an important part for the modern producer of film music, commercial and corporate music as well as the desktop composer/producer.

At the center of Guitar Kitchen is the performance: it has to immediately trigger emotions. If it does that to you, it will do it to your audience as well! These loops are multi-bar loops, so they retain all the performance particularities associated with chord changes on an acoustic guitar. We also mapped them as one-bar loops as well.

Guitar Kitchen is available for $39 as download in Apple Loops®, ACIDized wavs, REX2 and in Native Instruments Kontakt format. Order your copy here

How you can find out more about it
You can listen to the songs in the player or in the player on the product page.

Or you can download a little Freebie Kontakt instrument containing one bar loops of the song "Let's Make It Posh".

Additionally we have created a the loops in this library.

How it came about
We started thinking about a library like this during the production of the music to the award winning comedy/drama series "Danni Lowinski". A show that needs many songs and song-like structures. But since production schedules for TV are pretty tight, we always thought we should have a tool like this one to quickly try out ideas during the spotting phase and then create short song ideas, record a vocalist for a vers and/or a chorus.
It's also very inspiring and fun to listen to guitars and humming along, making up melodies, trying out lyrics. Great if you're a keyboard player!

Who's behind it
Composer Hans Hafner developed and produced this library. Hans began playing piano at age 7, switched to drums at age 13 about the same time he got a C-64. Both music and technology hold an equally important place in his life and it was only logical that the two fused.

Thank you Ned and lingyai!

It is a weird feeling to suddenly have hit that release button. Liberating at the same time. And now I can again focus more on creating music.

I made the rookie developer mistake of creating the library in the .dmg format. That means, that windows users had to jump through some hoops to get the files to open.

I've uploaded a regular .zip version now and if you've bought the library and need a different link, let me know and I'll send it to you.

It will take a couple of days until the files in the store will be replaced, because shareit has to do that manually.

In a blogpost and a video I show how Using our loops (or any audio material for that matter) with the polyphonic Melodyne DNA makes them an incredibly flexible tool:

I'm just always amazed how well the Celemony DNA technology works...

I've finally managed to convince the share-it server to accept and replace regular .zip versions as opposed to the .dmg versions. The .dmg had a nice little visual backdrop when opened which I've included as a screenshot here, so it can get a deserving resting place.

It's now much simpler for Windows users to open the library and I don't have to handle this individually as a support issue anymore.

Thank you all for your patience!

Happy strumming!

I've created screenshots of the chords to all the songs. This makes it easier to work with the AppleLoops or ACIDized format.

A quick update that I didn't think I'd have to write:

Unfortunately we're loosing our e-commerce partner and it will take a while to set up a new one.

The good news is: you can still get Guitar Kitchen before August 17th 2021.
