Goldplate was developed with Kush, and as a Kush branded product, so I think it's still available there.

The VSR S24 is being replaced with the Relab System 6000 [not sure if that's the name] that's supposed to be a full-blown emulation of the original TC verb that the VSR S24 was based on anyway.

Sure, as there are previous owners that might want to redownload their products, but he's talking about them being removed from the site products/store:

Hi,

I have the VRS S24, and LX 480 Complete reverbs.

I also have the beta version of the upcoming System 6000. All I can say is it sounds amazing.

Cheers,
Muziksculp

As an owner of two System 6000 (hardware) for many years, I have to ask if this will be a complete emulation/port of all algorithms with multi-channel capability or just again a subset of the System 6000?

LX480 essentials is £19 at Plugin Boutique at the moment. Does anyone have an opinion as to how this compares with NI’s RC 24 and 48, also on sale currently?

Post

It's better sounding than RC48 imo, I never really liked the NI plugins. I find them a bit lifeless, personally, but the interfaces are nice enough. RC24 is based on the 224 so is a different thing.

remember 2 or 3 years ago when they teased an upcoming Quantec Room Simulator plugin? They also teased this "System 6000" at the same time. Glad to hear at least one of them potentially actually exists :P

i'd buy a Quantec plugin as quick as you could say "oh look, he's getting out his credit card. Oh and now look, he's entering his details. Heeeeeeere comes the email... quick, enter it in that bit there. Oh boy, activating... And install... doop doo de doo... hmm hmmm hmm... done, sweet! Hey... He looks happy, with his new Quantec Room Simulator plugin. Just look at that cheeky audiophile smile. I bet he's been waiting quite a while for THIS plugin to be released. Ohho boy, just look at him go. There. With the Quantec Room Simulator plugin. That's one happy dude."

How about the Quantec option in Sonsig?
I've never tried the real thing but this mode sounds really good imo.
