License transfer without contacting support?

" To speed up the license transfer process, you can now manually unregister a license from your account without contacting the support."

Could someone clarify how this works? Do I just unregister as it says and then directly email the serial/unlock code to the new user and job done?

Yes it works this way. I sold and transferred a few licenses two weeks ago without support.

I would highly recommend taking a screenshot of the license info first as once you unregister from your account all the required information is removed.
