Hi everyone,

I am a student working for his Masters degree. My final year project consists of an online-survey about audio software. Not many people participated in this survey since it is online and that makes me sleepless. By the way, a lottery will be held under all survey participants. Please help me out!

This is the link to the survey:

i took your survey in hopes that i may help you in whatever you are trying acheive but seriously... you could have applied yourself in the relevance of the questions and trying NOT to repete paraphrased questions 4 or 5 times. this was either a tricked survey that analyses something else that its topic suggest or it was very, very poorly defined and executed. it almost looks lke you were asked to put a certain number of questions and types of questions and you just threw it all together in 5 minutes.

i would be very intersted to know exactly what your research is about. please keep us updated once you close the survey and complie your data.

I just completed the survey for you and I have to admit I now have a headache, it's WAY TOO LONG.
Page after page after page , I almost bailed out after the 3rd or 4th page.
I feel it's length will discourage people from completing it.

Surveys, in order to hold a persons attention, especially since they are a good will gesture by the taker, need to be short and to the point.

I have to agree with nukles that many of the questions are repetitive since you ask a question and have the choices of agree, strongly disagree etc.
Example, Native Instruments is a good company? Strongly agree.....etc, strongly disagree. Then the next question is Native Instruments is a bad company?Strongly agree..etc,it is implied that it is a bad company if you write strongly disagree in the Good company question.

As far as the layout of the survey I think you did a great job and whenever I skipped a line, the page would repeat itself with the red highlighted words advising to please fill out all info.

Again, a shorter survey perhaps down to two pages and non repetitive questions would be less taxing on the taker.

Good luck, hope our participation helps you out. :)

I would have filled it in, but as I don't actually use any Native Instruments apps, I couldn't. (The header said it was applicable to fill it in even if you've heard of NI but don't use them). But if I haven't bought anything off them, how do I know the answers to some of those questions? There's no option for not applicable.

You should maybe state on the site that it's only relevant to NI present owners or previous users. I've used demos etc, but I have absolutely no idea what their customer service/support etc is like, so I can't complete the questionnaire, sorry. Much though I would like to help :?

This is not a survey about music software but about NI software. At least the first page was. Since I never use NI software I left the last bunch of questions unanswered, and then I was not allowed to go to the next page.

I use three NI programs, but after looking at the first page of the survey I decided not to participate. I don't intend to be mean-spirited about it, but I have to agree with earlier comments on the survey.
