Dark/Noir/Crime Jazz Style?

Hi Folks,

I'd like to experiment with the dark/noir/crime jazz style using RapidComposer but do not know where to begin. According to https://www.reddit.com/r/Guitar/comment ... zz_chords/ the style uses the minMaj9 chord but I'm not sure of other chords or useful progressions. Could anyone provide advice either about the style or using RapidComposer in this project?
