Awesome Dimitar... downloading demo now. Although I really should just buy it. I really like your take on amps.

Can Vermillion get into the same general area as Lancaster?
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.

Vermilion is another story! There's something in the Lancaster character, grit and some noble saturation that I love! :)

Niiice. Passed the jangle test with the 12 string Shitenbacker, which is all you can ask for.

Not a fan of V*x, not interested.

Oh well, might as well have a try.

Ah crap, sound fantastic. Bought.

Just tried it.

I think this is their best amp sim so far.

They got the attack just right.

Thanks.
Interestingly if i bought it as a single it is $25. If I upgrade my amp360 bundle it is $39, it is the only element in the bundle I dont already have a license for.

Interestingly if I bought now it is $25 or my 360 upgrade goes from 60 something to 129. Great opportunity that "upgrade"

I'm not a huge expert on Vox sound but Lancaster sounds exactly like what I would expect to hear.

I'm quite surprised by the Treble booster, I thought it was supposed to be just a shelf but it's actually more like a hi-passed distortion pedal without a drive control. It doesn't behave like any other treble booster emulation I've ever come across. Is that really how it sounds? (that's a genuine question, I actually don't know!)
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

That specific treble booster, yes. They nailed it! Instant Brian May.

That tone isn't something I use very often. But wow they did a great job. I compared it to other amp sim options I have in a similar vibe and this felt 10x more real and alive. For $25 it was an easy purchase.

Just tried it again in comparison to Nembrini's AC30.

Kuassa's sounds better when clean, but Nembrini sounds better when dealing with overdrive.

When it comes to distortion, IMO, Kuassa's still dancing on the fizzy territory. Their amps can become very abrasive.

This happened to me; Kuassa support said "The free upgrade didn't apply automatically to customers with a mixed source of purchase due to our older database architecture".

The great news is that after they checked my account and verified that I did own all the other Amplifikation items, they sent me a coupon code to use at the checkout to complete the bundle for free.

Oh Let me hit them up.

whenever people make such statements, i really wish they provided examples of exactly what they mean. now, i never tried the Nembrini one because their entire line of amp sims disagrees with my UI design sensibilities (read: i find them very difficult and uninspiring to use, and their UI design reeks of SynthEdit plugins IMO), so i can't speak to how Nembrini AC30 sounds, but it would certainly help to have a better idea of what people mean by "better" or "fizzy" or "abrasive". This certainly hasn't been my experience, but maybe there's something i just don't hear?
