Cheers
Anyway, I remember now that I had a problem with Predator 2 size with my previous laptop (which was with FHD resolution), but I don't remember exactly the details, all I remember it depends also on your DAW. Studio one is not as good as say Bitwig, because it has a big top margin for the vst window, while in Bitwig, you don't have a margin.
The best is downloading the demo and experience it with all your configurations before buying it. The support is friendly and responsive as well, so you can ask what you want before purchasing
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

also note that some of the newer plugins are using a 100%, 150%, 200% sizing method via a hamburger menu in the upper right corner of the GUI, rather than the old "use Big Screen" radio button on the back panel. I assume this will be the case for Predator3 also.
Although of course this will not help if the 100% size is already too large for your screen. But it facilitates a 75% option to be added as they are each updated, if enough users request it.

The problem there is no consistency, so sometimes you can find 4 sizes and sometimes 3.
However, Blue 2, Predator 2, RAW and GO2 have two sizes only (RG have only one size, also Blue 1).
@Influx808: You will have a problem only if your laptop is with HD resolution (1024x768). Here what will look like on such screen. Here Predator 2 with the small resolution doesn't fit while Predator 1 fits: and Predator 1

Do you mean the HD resolution (1024x768)? Hmmm! Then it is better to ask Rob Papen support about the future support for such resolution. You can ask them here:Influx808 wrote: Tue Aug 10, 2021 4:38 pm On my laptop it has the small resolution I hope version 3 has different gui size

- Redesigned User Interface
- Improved workflow
- Reworded Sound Engine
- New Filter types
- New features in the Arpeggiator section, being 'Ratcheting', 'Step-Length', 'ARP A-D' and 'MIDI OUT
- New modulating Multistage Envelopes
- Side Chain input
- VST3 support
- And...much more[/quote]
I’m excited by this. Glad to see Predator getting some more love. I really rather like it. There’s a couple of things I hope for in the new version.
Currently when using Velocity to modulate the mod amounts of the mod matrix or Env / LFO tab, it can’t do it polyphonically. I’d love to have that possibility in Predator.
Also having the option for Velocity to work when playing Legato notes. Currently whatever Velocity level is set for the first note is used for subsequent Legato notes no matter if you play with varying Velocity.

Too late for me now
I have missed the live streaming. It was at 6:00 a.m. here!
Anyway, I'm going to subscribe to his channel as I'm using Explorer almost 75% of the times, if not more, when starting my DAW! His streaming is valuable as they include lots of info and hints/tips on sound design.

@surreal, thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately I missed it. I did watch it after though…it was a good watch. I might email him and see what he says.

You can download what you want separately, or you can download the whole lot (one file). Explorer 6 size is .. I'll paste an image:
You can't choose which one to install (as far as I remember). It will install all of them.
