Opening session from Cubase 8 in Cubase 11 Pro causes plugins missing even though they are installed?

Hi all

Using Cubase 11 Pro I have opened a session that was created and saved in Cubase 8 and it throughs up errors on every plugin and VST instrument saying they can't be found but they are all installed in Cubase 11 Pro.

Each of the plugins loaded would have had thier parameters adjusted to suit the job they were doing.

How do I rectify this issue?

Perhaps you were using 32-bit plugins with v8? Current version doesn't support them. It actually barely tollerates VST2 plugins...
