Reminder that their really old plugins really were made free, probably backed on Archive.org. JB Barricade Pro and all those.

To make up for all the excitement, I think TB should do a one-time flashback sale and bring the V3 bundles back for one more run at their last price. It could produce a ton of sales from people that were disappointed when the plugins were removed. And it would finance TB to maintain support for a few more years.
I believe TB feels the new v4 plugins are the latest advancements with the most modern features, but those v3 plugins were crafted with love and are going to keep aging well. And there's something to be said about a simpler interface with more quickly accessible knobs. I personally am happy to own and keep using both versions.

@halonmusic: I think the guy may have been talking about where they were previously, no license files I could see after installing the legacy plugs.

Weird. I downloaded it yesterday, and, the key files are there.Erisian wrote: Wed Aug 11, 2021 3:40 pm Downloaded the portable zip and wished I hadn't. No key files there.
I compassionate about 180 MB of your limited download volume though.
Did you take a look in the right folders though? This is the path: x64 -> VST2 -> ToneBoosters -> BusTools_v3 or TrackEssentials_v3

I think they realised their mistake and removed them.
The portable version shows this for me now (unless I have the wrong version):

I just downloaded the file again, and, indeed, the key files are gone. Guess it was a mistake by ToneBoosters then. Or something.
I can only assume, but, doesn't look like they want them to be freely used.
