i downloaded the new fl studio and installed it. i opened the email and clicked the go to my fl studio link to get a new reg code and the web site doesn't work. so i'm stuck with the demo version. do we just have to wait till the server is less crowded? i've been trying for the past 3 hours.

Basically yes – you need to wait till its less crowded – I guess the thinking behind sending over 60,000 emails to registered users was to enable them to get the info on the update – and the chance to download the new FL- check it out while the servers ease up.

Personally I would have staggered the emails over the whole week – it would have meant once you got the mail you would have been able to register straight off.

I think give it a few hours to settle – no doubt when JMC gets up this morning, he will do some load management to the servers to help aid the situation.

Cool, that takes me back, I remeber that program as my very very first efforts with midi on a PC years back. came on a floppy disk - I did not know it was still around - have to see what it is like today.

I was also trying the first of the art programs I was rendering 3D work - this use to take maybe a day to complete.

Now with the PC's at the level they are today, the 3D render is in a few seconds - amazing. audio work upto additive levels. Mindblowing advancments over the last few years.

It’s an FX – so go to the FL main mixer and select the fx list and it should be there.

Why would they laugh Orion and Reason updates are no where near as spectacular as FLS. I think Orion Plat was updated last week, did any one notice or care? I saw some one even trying to sell thier license for it.

We'll be laughing at them when they realize their software... dare I say it... well... form your own opinions. FL has really come a long way. It has so many features that will change a lot of peoples perceptions, that is if they give it a chance. FL is God.
