Hi all!

After some crashes during several projects, including most recently the ongoing "One-synth challenge", I have been advised to try Reaper as my DAW instead of Cubase. I have much to learn in Reaper but so far everything seems to be in place... except:

Cubase has the "Groove Agent SE" drum sampler with up to 8 velocity layers per articulation, but it doesn't seem to work outside Cubase. I have a sample library with up to 16 layers per articulation and want to use as many of these as possible. What free/cheap/worth the money alternatives do you recommend for this? I hesitate to buy something like Superior Drummer since I can't fit that gigantic library on my hard drive anyway, and I'm not really desperate for more samples, just a good sample player. One alternative is of course the full version of Groove Agent which should work in all DAWs.

TL;DR: Please recommend good (drum) samplers with preferrably 16 velocity layers :D Thanks!
