Mind Control is sweet! I use it a lot in the studio.
I've tried using it live once, using some velocity switches, to trigger various sounds/articulations and it didn't go as expected (out of my own fault, of course:) ) - in the studio we get along fine and i manage to control my playing fine; but on stage (probably because of the adrenaline, energy, emotions, etc) i seem to smash the keys harder - sometimes to match the guitar player who constantly needs to turn himself louder :) - and then all those intricate velocity settings go down the drain.
For a regular keyboard player's needs it might be more trouble than needed...i'm thinking in a band playing live you don't need keyswitches and tons of articulations, but more bread and butter stuff (Acoustic pianos, an assortment of electric and digital pianos, some hammond clones, maybe a clavinet or two, brass, strings, pads and synth leads).
Of course, provided the band has guitar and bass players...

Just as an update, the instrument selector can also listen to program changes. And if you need more than 128 programs you can nest selectors and control the outer one with a Bank select cc 0. And if you plan to get crazy, you could nest these as well to control 16384 presets with the bank select LSB cc 32
And the instrument selector can also be controlled by key switches…
Its really easy in Bitwig to get those functionalities…
You better use this not via the script, as script controls only go to the selected track…
