To help consolidate threads and slow down traffic, here is an attempt at helping everybody register. Also to keep too many threads from popping up and wearing down the goodwill form the non-FL useres of this site.
Maybe we can just post reg problems and solutions here for clarity's sake?
NOTE: You need to already have your username and password handy. If not, then you will have to contact IL and figure it our with them.
Note #2: twocows has not updated their links on the main pages, but they have the new file. To d/l it, you have to use the links posted in looptalk.
10 STEPS TO LOOP RECORDING
1.Go to FL studio homepage.
2. enter
3.click on my Fl Studio (Overwhelming trafic right now, may take a while?)
4. log in - this entails generating a reg code which you should save in a safe place.
5. look at looptalk. - the first post by IL has alternate d/l links.
6. save from the new links
7. run the new FL5 installer (nice new icon, btw)
8. (important)
Right click on new regkey (which you d/l'ed in step #4) select merge, and you will be registered in both the new and old versions.
9.run FL5, should work.
10. if not, repeat steps 1-9.
Hope this thread is helpful and not too presumptuos, but I imagin IL/twocows are allready overwhelmed, and I want everyone to enjoy a Fruity breakfast.
