Studio One & horizontal zoom - help needed!

I'm considering to switch to S1 from Cubase and it looks great based on the demo. But there's one thing that really, really, really drives me insane, crawling on every wall.
Ctrl + MW up/down = vertical, but Ctrl + Shift + MW up/down = horizontal. I really, really need this to be backwards because I use almost exclusively horizontal and pressing two modifiers to achieve that is just going to be ergonomically really bad for me. It didn't take long until my pinky starts hurting slightly because of how uncomfortable doing this constantly is.
Please, tell me there is a way to change this behavior? You can't do it in key binding setup. Is there another way? Changing a config file? Something, please?

I would strongly suggest you post this question on the Studio One forums. I'm not saying the one simple answer of "no" that you got here is incorrect, but the Presonus forums have many VERY experienced users that can weigh in on this issue.

Yes, there is. You're not the only one complained about this - many people switched from Cubase and complained about the same thing. If you're on Windows, there is this StudioPlusOne script which runs in the background and does exactly what you need : https://github.com/lokanchung/StudioPlusOne/releases. It also serves middle click to drag and pan around, exactly like in Cubase. Just download it and run sp1.exe .Functional wrote: Mon Aug 16, 2021 5:51 pm Please, tell me there is a way to change this behavior? You can't do it in key binding setup. Is there another way? If you're on Mac, there is also a way with mouse modifier apps like SteerMouse or BetterTouchTool where you can customize anything in any application.
Cheers.

Unfortunately, it appears that the specific zoom swapping doesn't work at least for me. The middle mouse button panning does work (and is also helpful, but less of a dealbreaker!)
I even downloaded AutoHotkey if that made any difference for some reason - it appeared not to.
EDIT: Ahh! I had to actually set it up from the settings - I didn't figure that it appeared among hidden icons. It works perfectly now, thank you so much!

I can't think of anything that concerns me less. Using the time markers at the top of the window to zoom feels so perfectly natural, quick and easy - no modifiers, just scroll up/down to zoom in/out around your cursor. There is also a "Studio One Minute" video with Gregor that is dedicated to zoom. You might find some other handy tricks.
