Best general purpose VST/AU Synth for 'any sound'

Users of many software synths: What would you consider the Best general purpose synth that contains most used instruments in many categories.
Example: you can search the presets for just about any sound you can imagine and it comes
back with something usable.

I'm currently using an older version of reason for this, so please don't mention that app.
