6 months is hardly too long, especially for a one man operation. Matt is still developing it in the background, he's working towards a solid 1.1 release rather than drip feeding minor updates. It's functional and stable for the majority of users and has the same or more features than some commercial software with teams of people behind it.

Maybe there have been updates in the meantime but according to the website the last official update of Sylenth1 was November 2019, nearly 2 years ago, that's too long between updates, especially for a 140e synth...
