yes, maybe a bit of peer pressure will get some of these guys to post a track... :)

Post

hey you forgot the 'just for nocompromise to rip apart option' :hihi:

Yeah I put my drivel up when I have the time to make said drivel. I have about 100 tunes that exist as loops that have never been built up, must get round to creaming off the best and finishing the suckers.

havent made much aforementioned drivel lately as doing a sound set which is taking up quite some time. Will hopefully post some more ear-goo soon for your so i can give you aural pleasure :hihi:

some comments have been made regarding not getting responses to tracks , when they are posted ...

the best way to get some interest in your tracks , is to spend some time yourself , in the cafe , reviewing the tracks of others ...

one of my pet peeves is seeing people who show little , or no interest in this community , post tracks , asking for comment ...

Hmm, well, I'm somewhere between the two first options, I think - as in yes, I have posted some stuff here (not much, though) and yes, I do have some restrictions on what I can post. Restrictions set by myself (would that be option three, then?) and others. So there.

I'm currently involved in two rather time-consuming projects, but hopefully I'll have some stuff to post come January. Well, probably. I think. Maybe. :hihi:

Cheers,

I wouldnt have posted anything if not for the comnpetitions, but Ive drifted out of doing them. Unfortunately the only real completed stuff has either been a couple fo collaborations, or stuff for the KVR meets.

Reason? Unless its for something specific, I find it hard to finish stuff beyond a certain point, because although I'm quite happy going for a deadline, if its not got one, I kinda get really bound up in the details. And I'm also very easily distracted. Plus, up until very recently I was also working at a table narrower than my qwerty keyboard, and no room for speakers. And other crap excuses.

And yes, its generally in the ambient soundscape area of stuff, which y'either like or don't.

Mostly the negative comments have come from people who I've been arguing with over something technical who've done the 'Go on lets hear your music then' then come back and said 'Oooh wot shite, just like I thought', as though they'd say anything different. I aint exactly doing fine pop songs, so its not as though I expect many people to love it in the first place, so I aint bothered.

I really need to get my arse in gear at the moment, for various things. Hopefully that'll up the 'release' count slightly.

yes I agree (so I hope those comments weren't directed at me  ). I do listen to others work but usually only tracks by people that I'm familiar with (so know what I'm getting) or if it's a newbie who provides a description that tempts me to d/l...

Most stuff i finish (rarely) is plain too shite to post here.

By comparison to the quality i hear from the regulars, i'd get laughed outta here :hihi:
