I have limiters. I can see Kush Blyss being a replacement for Izotope Ozone. Does it have any other competition i should know about before i spend my cash? Thanks.

I demoed it and while it sounds good and all (like kush usually does) i didnt see anything i dont already do with an EQ, compressor and a saturator.

So imo plenty of competition, but if you prefer all in ones then smilar plug is arturia bus force, worth trying

I have Ozone, but i don't have many EQ, compressor, and saturator. Which do you recommend?

Also do you know in which order does Blyss do that? is it EQ then saturation then compression do you know?

I am finding Blyss exceptionally easy to use. I'm getting great results at dialling my EQ in.

Arturia Bus Force, i'll check that out when Arturia offer me the the FX collection again at a ridiculous price! Thanks.

If you like blyss’ workflow and dont have many coloring plugs, go for it

Not sure about the signal flow, but saturation is pretty complex -with deceptively simple interface.

To replace what it does you’d need a few good plugs and experience with them - so you’ll very likely get there faster with kush

I'm getting good results so i guess i'll take the plunge and probably get the Omega collection later, cheers.

Also great saturators.
If you’re up to for some experimenting, i got really close to omegas with voxengo powershaper - but it takes some experimentation

I haven't even demoed the Omegas yet. Yeah i don't mind a bit of experimenting. Cheers for your recommendation.

Second vote for omegas. Loads of fun. I like to stack them. Blyss also nice. If you are looking for one stop mix buss, I would also suggest goodhertz tupe. I really love it.

Any EQ + Saturator. Both combined: try, for example, Voxengo HarmoniEQ. A good and affordably saturator: Klanghelm SDRR.EQ: really, basically any.

If you already like the workflow and just plan to use it on the mix bus, go for it. I doubt you'll find a comparable combination of plugins for an equal price and same ease of use.

The only thing I'd keep in mind is that the CPU hit is moderate so depending on your CPU don't assume you can use it as a channel strip all over the place. But again, if mostly just for the mix bus, go for it.

TDR SlickEQ. It's currently $9 at Audio Deluxe. There's also the Mastering Edition for $29. Top quality EQ + saturation (and more)

Does Mastering Edition have saturation? or i need to get saturation separately for example SDRR?

Personally wont just slap it on master channel, more like mixing buses, talking about Blyss. Can be of course used in mastering and will be but.. anyway IMHO blyss has very very smooth saturation when used sparingly.

SlickEQ M has 2 saturation modes for low and high areas.

Only one I use regularly on tracks is TWK. I could do without the rest.

Any competition to Kush Blyss?
