The mastering of my upcoming album Space Above Theory is basically in lockdown right now by Australian authorities, but this one slipped through as a test. Hopefully I'll have the full thing to release in the near future.

Aha, this is the one I heard earlier! *Wink*

Love the flow. The string is really well written (and/or recorded?)! Also maybe I'm weird, but I love the transition at 2:29 where a "sonic reset" happens at the last 16th note.

Hope the work will continue very soon!

Thanks shawshawraw. I really liked that transition as well. Wasn't planned at all, but one of those things that just kind of came together noodling around.

This might be one of my favorite things I've heard around here. Any idea as to when the rest might find a way out?

he means: is there a possibility that the other tracks will available soon?
(do the tracks "find their way out" of australia) in my language it makes total sense ...

Ahhh, that does make sense. My brain wasn't drawing the connection

I'm not quite sure when the rest of the tracks will be available. The engineer that's doing the Mastering isn't able to get to his studio because of the Melbourne lockdown policies.

I wasn't too thrilled by the first engineer I gave a test to, so I kept looking. I was listening to a track that I liked on KRV, the mastering engineer was credited so I decided to do a test with him. I really like what he did, and he just happened to be in Australia.

The main highlight for me here was the "violin" patch which sounded very good and cut through the mix very well. In places, it had a very "oriental" character, particularly towards the end of the piece.
