My DAW PC hates me though I shower it with nothing but love..time to switch to a Mac?

Who in his perfect mind would run a recording or editing session on battery? What do you want the charger for? Or do you plan to do that recording/editing session while jogging?

Jog 7 meters to the wall, and do 1 hour sitting on the wall, then jog 29 meters to the tree stump, do another hour there, then jog to the airport and do a few hours on the plane to Miami, then go see the baseball and stream your live reaction to the baseball, then jog to the toilet, and do another hour on the toilet. I can't imagine there is anything so great about macOS that you'd be willing to miss out on all of that, let alone pay a huge premium for the privilege of missing out.

As we talking about mobile computers, how is the battery life on yours?

For example, my m1 air can give me 7-9 hours of work in Logic with connected Novation Launchpad x (Leds on minimum brightness).

When everything else fails, comes the batery longevity to the arena?

Will it be an argument to you, if I tell you that your cases of usage are drops in the ocean, and you can not assume or make statements that are close enough to reality about anyone else?

I easily can make a list of 10 features why Mac is better, as easily as a list of 10 features why PC is better. Do you know why? Because I do not mentally belong to any system and can see their strengths and wickneses without desperately needing to prove to some strangers on the internet that my opinion is particularly right.

Oh, I'd love to see that Your previous PC must have been a complete disaster.
