Thank you, Tunca!

Yala, OSS and Kolin are all vari-mu designs : is there any use case where one would be advised over the others? In a nutshell, which are the differences between each of these three?

You're welcome!

Each of these have their own design and character. OSS is one of the fastest tube compressor/limiter. Possible to destroy any source but easy to tame dynamics.

Kolin has heavier and warmer sound with extra adjustable attack and release.

YALA is great for vocals but especially for basses. Because it can handle low-end than others.

Thanks!

By the way, how would you rate Vari-Moon, among these three ?
I'm getting the best results with YALA and Vari-Moon (on drum loops and electronic bass) :)

Vari-Moon, Rare, Yala & Fiver are my most used AO plugins :)

It's not that heavy compressor. You can easily tame your sources without crunching it but still colorful! It's Fairchild style compressor with "ratio". So, it's easier to fit on your material.

Thank you.
I'm having a great time with these vari-mu designs.
Do you plan to add to YALA the other goodies you have thrown into the others (like 4X oversampling and readouts)?

Also, do you have any plan to release a DBX128/160VU style compressor, as well as a Distressor emulation?

+1
I also would appreciate more other dynamic effects like gate, expander and such. And I still would love to see API560
