My SSD-drive shows up in the device manager, but my computer doesn't show it

Like you can see from the picture it's there over the device manager, but it doesn't appear under the my computer listing. This is a new PC of mine, so far all good but right now I'd like to solve the SSD problem too. Any ideas?

Edit: I already checked for the new drivers but it said it's up to date.

Internal or external drive? Is the drive brand new as well? Sure it's formatted and partitioned? Do you know whether it works in another PC?

Internal. It's a new drive. And under the control panel/ storage spaces it is there in the unformatted list. So maybe I need to format it - where would I do it though?

Yes, its not formatted. Open the disk management, there you can format this drive.

Click on the magnifying glass (serch function), and type "disk management". That's the utility to manage hard-drives, and where you can format a and partition hard-drives, change drive letters, etc.

Careful to what you do and where you touch. You can accidentaly format an existing drive, delete a partition, and will erase everything or even preven you suystem to boot. DON'T TOUCH existing partitions, unless you know what you are doing.

Just format and partition the drive that doesn't show in your dekstop. You should be safe if you just mess with that.

Hmmm, I think it's the disk 0 that is the Samsung SSD. But I can't find a way to format it.

Hells yeah, I created a "New Simple Volume" and it's showing up now. Also I changed the drive letters to the same as they were in my last PC - so all the files would be found by the softwares. Thanks everyone for help!

There already was a "quick format" box that I ticked while making the "New Simple Volume". Anyway, big thanks - it was rather easy after all.
