That's not good news. Maybe I shouldn't upgrade. I've been using Saurus a lot since I got it last month, precisely because of that raw edge it has.

Saurus3 has a little more low-end that Saurus2. It sounds warmer.
You can get more 'raw' sound by switching off the bass-boost. Click on th 'BOOST' button on the interface.
Enabling the 'Low cut' filters in Config does also give a more raw sound.

Jason provides a NKS version of your synths, but Saurus is still missing, maybe you can hand him out a free copy to provide NKS Versions for all of your synths.

If I have a problem with Saurus, it's too much bottom end! It wreaks havoc with the compressors and limiters in my master channel.

Jason got Saurus. Problem is Saurus wasn't fully compatible with Komplete Kontrol. Saving was disabled even in full version. Also when using controllers it becomed unstable.

For anyone on the version 3 beta I was wondering if you can save any patches you make if you own version 2. I am going to try it out this weekend once finish work but clicked on markus link for beta and it says demo so unsure if saving is disabled even for us with V2 licence.

This problem has not been reported by any user to me. You need a valid keyfile to be able to save/load with the full version.

The public beta is a demo version. You can't save patches with the demo.

Hi Markus thank you for the prompt reply. I assumed as much but thought I would ask. I will wait till full version is released then as I tend to make my own sounds. Not long till sept and looking forward to trying out v3.

Other users have requested a more bottom for a more warm sound.
I noted your request for a more linear low-end. You can click on the 'BOOST' knob do disable the bass-boost. To enable the low-cut filters click on 'Config' and select 'Low Cut 125 Hz'.

I've got Saurus in the past and resold it because of problems with Komplete Kontrol.
Also, I reported that problem to support@tone2.com sending an email on 14.04.2021.

Most likey the problem is already fixed:
"- Fixed a crash that could happen if filter-type is automated."

I will check this out and provide a fix if there still should be a problem from our side
