I have the Aura Gaming Pro 970 now in a Rosewill Nautilus tower.
I'm especially pleased too, that it performs beyond spec in the way that it has a pcie v2 m.2 port that actually is bootable.

All I needed to do was clone a hard drive that was once in My laptop (which had an oem version of windows 10 home installed) using the Samsung Data Migration program and I was good to go.
At first, I thought it did not work; but after unhooking the sata drive; to My surpise it started up; and it in about 4 seconds.

I've made a somewhat lofi vid with My laptop of that startup and I will be putting a video together speaking of My impression of the Asus Aura Gaming Pro 970.

I have the seasonic focus platinum, fully modular power supply installed. It is quiet and the cables are attractive. I would say though, be careful to ensure that the clasps are clicked in because the plastic has an oily sheen that circumvents that from being as effective as you'd like. Overall however, the power supply and the tower with the snowman cpu cooler employed is whisper quiet. All I can hear is My central air. To that regard and the with the Rosewill tower and fans in mind however, I've learned something interesting. The older Rosewill fans which were made in China and not Mexica were a little quieter; it was a surprize to learn that for Me.

So far it's been very positive; and I like the fact that it overclocks My AMD FX 8350 Octo-Core to about 4.3 ghz. That's fast by most standards; and yet; it's not a snappy fast, not rally car fast. It's power fast, so like a lamborghini on the offroad, it can spin its tires a little.

With the SSD I'm able to get about 1500 read and 1250 write which is acceptable. It does not have built-in wifi so there's less issues with sound from such things and there's ample pcie 1x slots to add cards like the creative card which I added, notably which can support two microphones at once, nice for a mid side setup.

There's a video on the way that will be more descriptive, but ultimately; if you have such a mobo available and the neccessary parts on hand you'll gain a respectable system for less that resonates.
I don't make audio products anymore. I sell furniture & smart products.
