2C Audio reverbs ?

So there's a sale on these at the moment. I'd never tried any of the 2C reverbs and I'm still spending hours calibrating my reverbs, so I guess it was a good time to fiddle with Breeze against VRoom (my number 1 favorite), and I was actually really surprised and impressed. On my leads and plucks, the closer spaces are cleaner, they're less effect-y and encompass the whole sound better than the VRoom, and I compared/checked all the algos. The ER are incredibly lush, fit synths like a glove. Large spaces on another hand have a beautiful tail that seem to linger in a bit "static" and natural way and smoothly disappear like they never existed. And the artificial vibe I love. It also sounds less metallic than VRoom.
So yeah, I'm a bit surprised Breeze is almost never mentionned ? I will do a bit of blindtesting to ensure I'm not making up my own dream, but the lushness never lies.

What are your thoughts ? I'm going to buy Breeze anyway but I'm curious to hear from other reverb addicts

Wouldn't call myself a reverb addict but I do love Breeze. I was also impressed with how it seems to fit itself around input signals. Very easy to achieve everything from crystal clear reverbs to dense, swelling ambiences. Surprisingly low on CPU as well.

I'd probably compare it to FabFilter's Pro-R: Interestingly, whilst Pro-R has more potential for tweaking - with full EQ for both decay and frequency amplitude - I found it quicker to dial in good sounds. However, I subjectively prefer the results that can be achieved with Breeze: It just sounds better and I prefer the user experience as the GUI is more pleasing to my eyes.

My experience with 2CAudio plugins running on Windows 10 has been good and my experience with their customer service has been rewarding.

I think 2C Audio are wonderful and have used them for years, but recently the poor maintenance - especially regarding Mac M1 support has caused me to look for alternatives.
were they updated i'd likely consider getting aether and breeze again.

it would appear so, although i did get a response from the dev in april "We are also looking into Apple-Silicon-Native versions. No exact ETA yet, but it is on the task list for sure."

Dramaqueens. 2C is not abandonware. The company still exists, their site is up, their ecomm works and if you need help they will give it. The products are pretty mature and generally working well. The abandonware issue was something the kids on here conjured as a conspiracy theory.

Make sure you try Precedence too. Use it together with Breeze 2 - and see what you think.
I think they make a great pair - it's just a little awkward working with the two plugins. I'm waiting for the day when you can bolt Precedence and Breeze (or any other reverb) together and work with it as one plugin.

should've said that the preset sorting bug dating back to Mojave was never fixed - that's 2018

Never updated.
This is just one example of many other issues.
They just don't care.
