100% Reason. Of course one's appreciation will depend on preferred genre and how they define "sonically good music", so it's all pretty subjective.

This is absolutely pointless - don't feed the trolls.

uhhhh wtf.....

I disagree and I'm not going to post a link BECAUSE ITS A DAW. The fact that you don't understand how dumb your statement is speaks volumes.

Post

Exactly this! :tu:

Yesterday we had 0:45 video, today 0:15.

Applying linear trend & extrapolating until release date, on 1st of Septemeber the video will be -3 minutes long, so it looks like I'll finally get some of the time I wasted on Reason back :D

it's the beta logging version, but before you buy I would say at first try to build some project with some resource-heavy plugins like Avenger UVI Shade etc. for me one instance killed Reason with a simple opening-closing (Reason has been able to refresh their GUI around .25 frame/sec and after closing it has crashed)

be warned, ^^^and that was the all project one Nexus/Avenger with one Mecury Arp, so fingers crossed

no, reason is more of a instrument / sampler / synth / drum machine rather than a DAW

wow, listening to the examples you guys posted, you proved me wrong. those sound real real good.
sounds like reason came a long way and improved alot in synth and drum sound.
last time I used reason was around version 5.
dunno why many people that do tutorials of reason on youtube, most their music made with just reason comes out sonically sub-par. maybe its just the ones that i watched..
but in the examples posted here it sounds really good. better then most VST and samplers out there. plus I like the thing that Reason comes with many synths, drums and sounds all in one, and especially that they sound really good now.
now im interested in reason myself, I use cubase as a main daw so if i decide to get reason I'll have to use it in rewire mode or as a plugin.

No, it isn't. You obviously are even more clueless than we thought.

Still, it's a pretty competent DAW with distinct workflow & couple of very unique features and if they'd actually dedicate time & money they could catch up to the "big guys" in ~2 years.
