Hi folks, I'm starting to record nature sounds. It can be from rain to stream sounds and so on. Well I'm getting in all of my recordings an annoying "tik" sounds here and there during the recording.
You can see it on the waveform, there are three thin lines. You can listen to it also in the sample file attached.

I bought also the deadcat for the mic but the problem stays there. Any help please?

Are you using the H1n handheld? In my experience recordings done while holding the H1n in the hand are covered in handling noise. The creaking of the plastic body, even the slightest movement, can and will produce clicks.

Listening to your sample the clicks there sound like something in the environment you were recording and not necessarily handling noise.

Thanks for your answer. The Zoom is on a tripod. What i noticed that it does these ticks when i record outside...never inside. So I think there is something that triggers that "click" but I can't figure out what is it.
