Hi there,
Is it possible to enter parameter values numerically. I see the tabs allow to copy/paste values but sometimes I like to fiddle with a parameter ever so slightly.
Thanks

If you still wonder how to use the Granular Oscillator in Rapid, here is a nice tutorial and introduction to the capabilites.

And the last part of the series: Resynthesis. If you were unsure about what input samples to use, this should clarify a few things. A good showcase of different results.
The example track at the end is also really nice. It shows how easy you can combine simple input samples into a massive and unique ambience.

That choir patch (the one with the formant filter at minute 6) was incredible cool. Thanks for sharingparawave wrote: Sun Aug 29, 2021 8:00 pm And the last part of the series: Resynthesis. I forgot about this, but I actually made a full track using just Rapid alone... all played live without any editing. It's a bit of Brad Fidel meets Jean Michel Jarre and something else.

This looks like a fun synth too, but reading about it, Parawave don't allow license transfers. wtf, I thought that was illegal now in the EU ?
But at the price it is now, definitely not worth it, so do they do sales at all ? If they offered a good sale, i'd consider it.
I probably don't need it, but it does look like fun to use.

Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Last year for Black Friday it was 45% off.

Nice videos on the engines up there, but one thing irks me a bit. The presenter always points out that the CPU meter only reads 2% even though they are stacking several unison voices or lots of grains with long release, but in my experience the CPU meter in Rapid does not seem to correlate in any way with the CPU meters in my DAWs. I can create a very intensive patch and Rapid will read 3-5% no matter what I do, but in my DAW, it will jump up 20% at the same time with no other VST loaded up. It's not that Rapid is CPU heavy, it's what I'd expect and it's fine, it's just that the internal read out seems too low and and I tend to ignore it.

Does it allow to stack several FX-Types in the Oscillator section? Zebra2 allows two FX per OSC, but sometimes I wish I had 1 or 2 more.

Actually just the one in the oscillator section and another fx that can be routed pre/post filter. But I'd also wish there were more oscillator fx that can be used at the same time or at least have drift separate so it can be used in combination with something else.AlienForce wrote: Sun Sep 19, 2021 1:59 pm Does it allow to stack several FX-Types in the Oscillator section?
