I doubt that they'll do something about that. Seems to be a thing which most of their plugins "suffer" from. I guess it's a thing with their GUI framework.
It loads quite quickly in Komplete Kontrol, BTW.
Hmm... not happening here. Unless I miss something.

Typical KvR moaning aside, I am super happy that Massive X is back again on my M1. Yeah!
And yes, the preset browser is complete sh..., but the thing still sounds amazing. And so far, it seems to play nicely under Rosetta (but didn't use it for much more than playing a few presets so far).

Does it work on your M1? There are reports on the NI forums that it won't install on some M1 machines.
Edit: Just read that it could be that it won't install on machines which don't have Rosetta 2 installed.

Agreed with all these. It really gets in the way when I want to work fast, and at some point MX stops being a first choice for me when I need to pick a synth in my pool.Vortifex wrote: Mon Aug 30, 2021 8:11 pm The visual and audio lag when opening the interface, the lag when switching presets, the bug where scrolling to the next preset resets to the first preset in the bank

It didn't install before on M1! It said the CPU doesn't support "something". Anyway, glad that they brought it to run under Rosetta. I'm going to try to install it now!
Massive X is a great synth. The only problem is there is no Midi Learn and no automation for the parameters except the macros. This is my biggest issue with it. There is a workaround with it by modulating that parameter with a macro and luckily there 16 of them.

It still doesn't allow me to install it!

Yes of course! It might be Native Access problem. Maybe I need to restart the computer. I will restart it and see (after installing Groove Agent).

What is your OS? Because I just checked and there is a new update 11.5.2 which I haven't installed yet.

Bought Massive X in the last BF sale. I made also a handful of sounds with it, but unfortunately I'm still not in love with it. I can't really say why. The sound quality is great, possibilities are big. Strange....

Same... bought it, with the 10 expansions, crossgrade for $99.Rastkovic wrote: Tue Aug 31, 2021 12:50 am Bought Massive X in the last BF sale. The filters and effects are special, as well as the routing. And it does sound great. But the workflow and lack of visual feedback for modulation tend to turn me off from doing things with it regularly.
I am personally not usually looking to make complex sounds with any synth. Sometimes one or two stage FM, or wavetable modulation. But long drawn out complex things, not so much. And so, I usually can get where I want quicker with Serum or Vital. I wish those 2 had better filters and reverbs, but I can live with them generally.
