My gf says most girls only like acoustic. Is this true?

However, tonight I got her to admit that Wheatus is good.
Any girls at K-v-R?

I prefer cornflakes, and so does my GF.androidlove wrote:However, tonight I got her to admit that Wheatus is good.

Two female friends of mine are black/death metal guitarists. Another fronted a notorious noise/punk band here in my hometown. Yet another does noise electronics. So I'd say nope, not true.

Two words to make your girlfriend a total hypocrite Androidlove...
Bob Dylan.
Even WORSE after he went 'electric'.

HJack: *snerk*
*ahem*: Yes. Couldn't tell you about girls, androidlover (may I call you andy?), but certain women are fairly fond of analog synthesizers -- and just try finding a decent acoustic synth these days.
Oh, how I miss my classic 1884 Aeolian Pneumophone Model One! And how I curse the day its boilers blew. *sigh* That'll teach me to turn the volume to eleven.

My girlfriend is very much into black metal. Actually, I didn't like metal when we met, but she turned me on to it.
My ex was really into Korn, my other ex was a big Nine Inch Nails fan.
Hell, my mother is more likely to listen to Marilyn Manson than Bob Dylan.
So, I'd have to say that your gf is not correct in this case.

I had this friend in College that learned one song
on the acoustic (Lola by the Kinks) just so that he could get laid. Ironically, it worked very well!
Whenever they asked him to play another song he would
say he wanted to let someone else have a go!
