They're aware and it's the 1st thing they'll take care of after release. I guess they had to put the line somewhere to meet the self-imposed launch deadline.

I'm more worried about remote controls for tracks & master inserts disappearing from Mixer. I loved that! I'm sure they could've handled it better, e.g. leave them in place and let the user choose which 4 knobs & buttons are mapped there per track

It seems I will sell it soon or just return to Reason 11 or even 10

The Zoom functions is almost useless! They did some synths, but for example PX7 looks horrible with 120 or 140% zoom. Also the tools icons and many other things! Also the GUI seems sluggish!

It needs a lot of work to be ready. I doubt they would offer all that for free! Maybe Reason 13, but I'm stopping here!

Only the Rack was advertised as being HD, this was always the case for the initial release...they are now working on the DAW parts and VST3 etc.

Yeah, it seems so. But what is the point of releasing half baked cake? Of course, it's those greedy guys from Sweden. Money. FFS, delay the release one or two more months and release finished product

Is it less bad just because everyone is doing it? Naturally whether it's bad or not depends on what they're doing exactly. I've noticed Live creates some kind of logs of what you're doing in the DAW even though you've turned that off. No idea if it's actually sent anywhere though.

It didn't connect with my Reason 11 intro to this api segment, but it does doing it all the time, when I have this Reason 12+ 3 month for 3€ thing.

I've noticed Live creates some kind of logs of what you're doing in the DAW even though you've turned that off. No idea if it's actually sent anywhere though.

They use that for crash and bug reports. They asked me for the file when I was filling a bug report recently, so they could see what the DAW was doing internally when I observed some issue on my end.

Yeah i checked in the settings and it said "send data" so that makes sense, that it will log regardless if someone wants to crash report. Never had Reason 11 trigger the firewall.

I have a vague memory that the installer won't work on Windows 7. Someone asked about it on reasontalk. Maybe someone else knows for sure.

The user manual is already updated and includes a chapter on Combinator so you can check it out for yourself. I can't think of anything you can do in Racks that you can't in Combinator (although it might be more difficult to set up), while the other way around it's obvious - there's no GUI designer in Racks.

Looks mighty powerful. I bet the new Combinator is the tool the most people will spend their time with now.

I always fancied the idea to make a "supersaw" style power synth from several Subtractors in the combinator, but, always felt severely limited by the amount of macros.
