We've been waiting quite some time for Bones to come up with goods, I expect we'll have to wait again. In the meantime, something something grr, something something you're all idiots.
 :hihi:

Two words.

Dunning. Kruger.

which synths can do analog digital wavetable etc
All of them. If you know what you're doing, you can make a digital synth sound plenty analogue and an analogue synth sound completely digital.
Ok. Show me how to make a contemporary wavetable dubstep sound with Tyrell6.
You might have to post an example....I have no idea what that would be, so I doubt BONES does (not that I have my finger on the pulse...)

I don't need evidence as I know it can't be done. It was a rhetorical question to make a point.

Native Instruments used to make inspired synths before they started focusing on counting the beans
No auto tune...

thinking more about it, probably pigments. Va, additive, wavetable, granular, sample playback. It's very close to doing it all.

Falcon comes to mind. IIRC it can do all of the above plus it has fully fledged multi-sample playback engine with scripting and multi-operator (3?) FM and physical modelling too.

Yes that probably does do a little more actually. So now we weigh up "ease of use" :D

Indeed. I found it cumbersome, overwhelming and ultimately not much fun to program so I sold it on. It's the kind of synth I think I would enjoy if/when I retire and could spend hour after hour, carefree, programming elaborate patches just to pass them time before shouting at the local kids to get off my lawn

There are still some cool synths like Super 8, Form, Razor, Prism and some great blocks synths in Reaktor. Massive X has a great sound, although some decisions like no midi learn is stupid IMO, but still it is a great synth. I still use FM8, old Massive and Absynth more than other NI synths! They just sound great and with modern CPUs, they have very modest CPU usage ;)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Totally agree. :)

Who cares if they're mainly a sound and samples forge for Maschine users now, when they still make great instruments as well.

"Bean counting", yeah... how about making a living in a notoriously tough and niche market? Funny how people always mistake a small/mid tier business for something like Apple.

I didn't ask for evidence, I asked for an example.

Of course, without an example, there is nothing to aim for, he doesn't know what you mean, so you don't know it can't be done

Which makes it a pointless question, not rhetorical

Is there a potion one must drink before posting on KVR that enforces the consumer to lose the ability to understand a point?

I must have missed the memo.
