Yes, I've tried it. And strongly disliked it.
My advice would be : don't trust the video (which sounded really promising), try it yourself.
The threshold levels go apeshit, they are nearly impossible to control, one step beyond and compression becomes crazy. Don't know if this was a problem on my machine, but this was my experience. Sounds like an unfinished product, you can't predict what you get.
And the sound is not that great on the material I've tried.
OTT, which is free, is still a better choice imho if you're after this kind of sound. Yes, KTT sounds bigger, but at usage it sounded to me almost like a one button plugin : use it fully or not.

Yep, tried the demo, and it was quite underwhelming .
No parameter readout, and very difficult to make fine adjustments.
Feels unfinished and clumsy.
