would you maybe consider putting a hotke on the gui or maybe hotkey for the keyboard to hit the random feature?

A couple of my plugins did support this with the 'R' key in the past. However I noticed that some DAWs were not able to handle it properly.

Great free update. I have to say I wasn't that enthusiastic about the update from 1.1 to 2.6 and stayed with 1.1, but this seems like a step in the right direction. Now I'm going to remix some old traks with 3.0. Everything seems downward compatible, nice.

I just updated it. It sounds great. But Saurus 2 did also sound great. Cannot decide if one is better than the other. Everything is just cool. A Tone2 synth for me, where it always seemed like they made the rest for anybody else. Just keep it up running, T2. Excellent work

Thanks, Marcus for the upgrade/update. It seems very cool! Much appreciated.
Thanks also for Warlock. It's a really nice little synth. It's great to see that the spirit of Firebird has not been forgotten.

Thank you for your excellent quality products and for your availability and flawless follow-up. I am going to buy Saurus 3 and Nemesis 2, I still hesitate for Warlock, even if the latter seems to have a strong character.
Thank you again Markus and your team for the pleasure you give us

Hi Marcus,
Could you (or someone) tell me how to adjust the range of the pitch bend wheel on the interface? Is it (only) the oscillator pitch parameter in the mod matrix or is there another place?
Thanks!

Marcus could give you the specifics, but when Baastian was there, he told me you had to program pitch bend parameters based upon a ratio (of sorts). (I don't remember exactly, and it was either for Saurus or RayBlaster -- or both.) I never bothered to try it. Math wasn't my best subject in school, and frankly, it seemed a bit cumbersome for such a basic synth feature.dlandis wrote: Fri Sep 03, 2021 9:21 pm Hi Marcus,

The manual for Saurus 3 is on-line within the synth, if you want to check it for the steps necessary to program the pitch-bend.
Hope that helps.

EDIT: I just checked in Saurus 3, and there's no mention of how to get an exact pitch with the "pitchwheel" (as the manual refers to it). It appears you have to use the Matrix, and adjust the slider until you hear the pitch you want. There's a numeric value displayed below the name of the preset you're using, but since the values rang from -100 to +100, there's no easy way to simply dial in "+2" or "+5" semitones. Unfortunately, looking up to the main preset window to find the value may result in you inadvertently moving the mouse off the slider in the matrix. It would be nice if the value simply appeared over the the parameter in the matrix.
Don't get me wrong -- I really like Tone 2's synths, and I especially like the easy programmability of the matrix. I just don't think it works well for pitch-bend/pitchwheel use, especially if it's not "calibrated" in semitones.

Thanks for the reply.
I did check the manual; I may have missed it, but I didn't see it (as a global or default setting). However, using "osc pitch" as the target in the matrix does work per patch. I had to just play with it to change the range from two semitones to 4 semitones (which is fine).
I wonder, since you mentioned him, how Baastian is. He is a really nice guy and was very helpful. I hope that he is well.

Bastiaan (I misspelled his name the first time -- sorry!) was a great help at Tone 2, yes. I heard a couple of years ago (from someone here on KVR) that he was doing fine. I didn't want to pry, so I left it at that, but I told the person on KVR to tell Bastiaan we miss him. Everyone at Tone 2 has been helpful though. I think it's just the culture there.
