I have sample magix synthwave
Production master Miami 1984
And I just bought black octopus lover lane ,
And then i download some free samples byker and i use those more!.
The lovers lane ones are crap because they have reverb on them
Buying samples is soo annoying I just want to get free ones now ive had enough of paying for things I’m not happy with


Anyone recommended anything dry but punchy ?

I think for synthwave the drums are usually based on dry samples from classic drum machines: LinnDrum, LM1, 707, DX, DMX, ... Compression and reverb are such a big part of the sound of Dan Terminus, Perturbator, Carpenter Brut etc. that it wouldn't make a lot of sense to bake it all into the sample.

I like Samples From Mars (and they usually do a great deal around New Year) but there should be ok free samples out there.
