I like that the Rosewill Nautilus does not have an easily broken tempered glass side that could crack if transported. I also like the fact that it has a front cd bay that can house many usb ports / extra audio ports.

The downside is that the tower's superstructure and rear of the chassis is a bit flimsy. The inner chassis though, directly under the mobo is more rigid and holds the mountings well.

I like the oldschool design of towers better; and this seems like an economical choice for a musician to bring for shows and gigs to run a daw or as a processor.

By the way, the name of the vendor on ebay that sold Me the bad motherboard was:

Was a real shame, because it had a lot of pcie connectivity, it would have been ideal.
I'd paid nearly 60 cad for delivery of it, lol.

So, this is a great tower and I love the fact that I can plug My peripherals in. However, I was considering MY laptop and ultimately My phone. Having a medium of storage with which can be shared is a real time saver if a format like a u2 or u3 grade 10 micro sdxc is something shared on all My devices.

This presented a real issue because the front of My tower only offers usb 3 and 2.0. Therefore as you might have guessed I decided to shop around, again. What was sobering though; is that it was next to impossible to find a straightforward 5.25 bracket with two usb 2.0, two 3.0 a usb fast charge c and a micro sd / sd slot.

So I have to combine two products to do the same thing. Here's their pictures and links so you can do the same. Though the rosewill nautilus has an oldshool front; it just goes to show that such a front is not exclusively for cd's and such a port presents great strengths for producers and recording artists.

Please Note:
The above card readers are classed as UHS-1 (100 mbp/s)
I'll look for better, they're hard to find

For those who have lots of money, below are UHS-II compliant Card Readers, good enough for mic sessions at 16 and 24 bit. Maybe even M/S with dual and a creative card or something. Up to 300 mbps.

This presents a challenge however. I think what I will do is use the usb ports for usb 2.0 with the 5.25" adapter and for the 3.5" sd card reader and usb3 I'll have to make do.

A good solution even if the two side usb 2.0 ports aren't blue. I'm sure eventually I'll find a susbtitute to pop in, an older model.
