If you load it into SaviHost VST does it still lock on mono?

It works as intended in SaviHost which makes the REAPER problem if more peculiar.

This is one phat sounding synth! I feel a bit like a traitor, trying it with Ableton (vst3 no problem), but other than that... nice. Velocity is a sad missing ingredient, but even that just suggests what sort of stuff you'd want to do with it.

So if you use the midi capabilities in your DAW to create velocity sensitivity over synth parameters, which is pretty easy to do, is that not allowed?

I've never done that before, checking google now and getting some answers for Reaper. But no one so far mentions polyphonic operation. Does the velocity of the last triggered note set the volume for all voices, as in turning the volume knob? Or is there a way to get polyphonic velocity control even though the plugin lacks it?

For per voice modulation you would need an instance per voice. In Bitwig its easy to setup with an instrument selector, would even turn it into MPE mode…
I once made a scripter for Logic to pass on MPE data to individual instances…

Thanks! I was afraid that would be the case. Not impossible maybe but too fiddly for me, I'll stick with my fixed velocity piano patch

I am experiencing a problem where the synth is locked on to Mono and no matter what I do it will not go to Poly mode (the Poly button lights up but still no way to play chords as the next note chokes the previous one, which is essentially mono behavior). My DAW is Reaper, anyone else has this problem?

I have a preset which worked in all modes. But after loading it again, only poly was working. All other modes silence. I found no way to repair this. I use Reaper too.

Thanx Sasha for your quick response. I tested the problem today and everything was fine. I can switch between Poly and Mono and all other modes with the same preset as mentioned above without problem. Nevertheless I sent you an PM with the files.

I see that the track has Hold Pedal automation, so when I stop the song when the pedal is ON it holds the last played notes "indefinitely". Moving the song position where the pedal is OFF will finally send a Note OFF signal to stop the sound.

Maybe changing preset while hold was on caused voices to hang open, preventing a change of the polyphony mode.

Anyhow, I'm glad that it works fine for you now.

I get clicks/pops on start of notes with mono patch when using triangle wave. Basically an init patch, no filter or fx or anything, just pure triangle wave. Happens even when I set attack time to slow. Goes away if I change to mode from mono to poly. Studio One latest version.

It is indeed a bit rough isn't it ? It would seem the oscillator does not run free but uses random phase ( with glitch ? ) Here's a pic of a typical transition.
