I've been messing around with the beta, for the most part everything seems fine
I did notice however that the distortions have a bit of aliasing when modulated fast

it is worst with the clip mode

otherwise this update is amazing, and I really enjoy having multiple distortion modes

I'll have a chat with Dom about it. He's a really keen on minimizing the aliasing!

Is it only one parameter per effect that can be modulated?

Infiltrator has much better filters/effects quality.
Tantra has some different effects and has everything on one page, where Infiltrator is more modular.
Tantra is a bit dated in the interface and drawing curves is not as detailed as in Infiltrator. Also much more limited on the modulation sequencer. I'd definitely get Infiltrator. Also Tantra 2 is announced at least since 1 year, so it is soon replaced. Infiltrator gets much more updates currently and also feature additions. Tantra's development is stale since years.

Infiltrator is better compared to Shaperbox 2, but each of these focuses on different aspects.
Infiltrator also has much more possibilities / much deeper sound mangling possible.

My Infiltrator trial expired before getting to compare it to HY-Delay4 which I subsequently picked up on sale. HY-Delay4 is clearly more delay-orientated, but there are a lot of similarities. Multi-FX with reordering, some great modulation capabilities, etc.

Has anybody managed to compare the two? Thoughts?

My general feeling is that they both look to have their strong points, and seem to cover each other's lesser points, thus very complimentary. Looking forward to the next time Infiltrator goes on sale (hoping I'll actually have the funds then).

i ran through the presets for the first time on the weekend, Cubase was glitching out big time. I'm guessing the plugin latency is changing per preset? Stops the whole audio stream when browsing through them. Agonising.

Yeah, Cubase makes things really hard.

Infiltrator demo VST 2 is crashing Ableton 11.0.6 immediately when opening up the plug-in. Anyone else having this issue? Was hoping to check this out and see how it compares to other likewise effects to see if it’s worth picking up or not.

Which version of Infiltrator are you trying? Sounds like a problem we should fix right now for you! Also, Windows or Mac?

Just to say. I've made a note of this problem. At the moment it adjusts based on the effects in use to ensure you've got the minimum possible latency for each preset. Maybe we can add a mode which will have a fixed short latency and make flicking through presets more enjoyable on cubase.

I am on Mac 10.15.7 and was using the most up to date version on the download page of the website, 1.1.4 I believe. But yes I will try this new beta version right now and get back to you. Thank you for the response!
