I have it as well. I got an email with an update offer. I did update. I cant remember if the offer was time limited. Email them and ask raisingjake@gmail.com

To be clear, ME2 is not an "update" - updates to our plugins are always free. ME2 is a new VERSION that was built on a new framework with new features (like resizable GUI, updated controls/values, etc.) and is not backward compatible with ME1. We issued ME2 with its own plugin ID so it can be run alongside ME1 if need be.
