Hey Os and others on this thread, did this get resolved? I am also experiencing problems with distortion/crackling sounds. Even in ranges that wouldn't seem to be outside the range of the instrument sampled I'm getting pops and cracks (though much less so when in a "normal" range).
I just updated to the latest firmware (1.8.2) to see if it would help, but it seems like not. I'm using the new Tiny Midi Breakout with a Keystep 37 if that helps.

In the settings, is high speed SD enabled?
