I use my paid Yahoo account, I think... though I have that and my Rogers account in the same Outlook send/receive batch, so it may be the latter....

Funnily enough, just this minute I got a license delivered to my yahoo account closely followed by a very helpful reply to my query from Sean Shier.

I retract(ion) my comments about their customer service.

True that. I've got one of those old obsolete models that can only see things that are actually there. I really need to upgrade.

I used my everyday account that my kvr topic reply notifications go to and all my real-world friends use.
It's yahoo mail. I pay for it for the larger size file attachment facility.

wasn't actually in the post immediately prior to your first reply to my query.
Either that or I'm hallucinating.

Ahhh... I see now. Earlier, I hadn't noticed how clearly you stated that you had indeed switched to an alternate hotmail account, but your quote of your previous post cleared it up. My suggestion that you try another account as others suggested was totally out of line, and your snotty reply was completely justified. My bad.

Anyone tried to autherize this for a second puter thats not on the net.Do you use your same machine id?
I was about to get it for a spare puter but would like to now how easy or hard this is gunna be.

If you tried it for one, you know how to for the second. The machine doesn't need to be on the net at all I think.

Run Tracktion
click the About button
scribble the machine ID on a piece of paper.

Go to an internet café
register Tracktion through your hotmail account
Copy the keyfile on a floppy disk / CDR.

Go home
copy the key file to desktop
follow further instructions as stated in the email.

good to hear from you COOkie..if I download it to my net puter upstairs,,couldn't I just use the id and key file from there to install downstairs?
Or will it need a new key?

it'll need a new key.

The key will be the sane for both computers, but since you'll be adding a new machine ID, you'll need to redownload the key.
