I'm pretty surprised by the fact that NI (and other companies I presume) let you resell licenses. This seems pretty foreign to me but I guess I'm not complaining if I can get stuff cheaper

This wasn't really a thing, back in the days. Can't recall that anyone sold any software here (where I live), 20 years ago.

Even physical CD-ROMs and floppies and such? I could have sworn that people used to trade them around when online DRM wasn't a thing yet

i wouldnt buy anything here. and i wouldnt sell anything here too.
the options to get 100% legit stuff on the regular market are to good this times, lots of sales, installment plan options and at least damn good free stuff.
i am no professional by any means and i got a decent amount of very good plugins and 3 daws in a short time, at least i consider 3-5 years short with some discipline and planning and knowledge, on a fairly low income. the knowledge helps a tad bit to avoid buying bullshit - well, i have few dead soldiers too in my folders, but its neglegible and i dont feel the urge to sell it. its not worth the struggle

Having sold and bought a bunch of things on here, I wouldn’t hesitate to do so any time. Also, I’d recommend it for anyone wanting to save a bit of cash, or on the other hand, get some back for a thing they’re just not using.

Again, just make sure it’s via PayPal (with fee), and the license can legally be transferred. Of course.
