I tried it for couple of days.
The customer service is the worst.

So how was the synth and what was so bad about the support?
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

Line up the recording in your daw ( sample accurate starting point )
Play both files while one is inverted , if they cancel each other out means both files are identical , a dsp generated supersaw will always have slight differences .
Not necessarily. If the oscillator resets the phase of the waveform on each keypress, a DSP-generated oscillator will also always sound identical when playing back the same MIDI. Only with a random phase offset on each keypress, or a free running oscillator will the result be slightly different every time.

Many synths gives you both options. Example (not mine): https://soundcloud.com/revolution-eagle ... hase-reset

Both free running and phase reset are useful, as you can hear. Phase reset is great for percussive sounds and basses, while free running is best if you want a smoother, more naturally flowing sound. If you increase the attack of the Amp envelope however, the difference becomes much less noticeable.
A better way to identify a sampled supersaw, is whether you can freely detune the simulated sawtooths (sawteeth?) or if there are only fixed intervals like on the Gaia. Also, if the supersaw isn't individually sampled for each key, the brightness of the waveform will also change slightly between adjacent keys.
Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care

Has anybody actually purchased it ?

It seems it's not possible anymore btw. The "buy now" button used to take me to a paypal page or something, now it takes me to a russian error page... :scared:

Any news on this?

This made me laugh

Navira is a very powerful synthesizer with a rich sound. This is especially true for its oscillators, which resemble real analog gear waveforms....
Ooh, you mean the jp8000 and virus?

Well, I own this plugin, and I really love it.
There are a couple of bugs (rare hanging notes mainly), but the sound is REALLY awesome.
Don't expect anything but what's advertised : it's a supersaw&co synth. If you're into this stuff, I highly recommend it.

I really dig the audio demos. Just hoping the price will be lowered at some point.

You have to know the site sometimes goes down...
I checked randomly for updates a couple of weeks ago, and the website was down.
Not really sure the company will last forever...

It's a bit sad they're not taking care of this thing better. Could've been a hit. (imo)

To my view, with my personal usage, it IS a hit. But people seem to think differently.
But I understand : no regular promo, no regular updates, no new soundbanks...
I just don't care, I really love it as it is. It sounds greater than great, the presets are insane, and it fits what I need.

Anything new about the feedback oscillator ??

While do i understand the need for these sort of marketing sales pitch write ups to try and sell products.. ridiculous statements like that are counter productive. Either the creator is being dishonest or has very limited knowledge. Neither make me want to demo let alone buy the synth :dog:

I dont have this emulation but I have fully working Virus C in my DAW. Didn't coast me a penny
Fight Apathy or don't.
