You ought not to be sheepish! You must've been pretty sharp to recognize a plain block of flat color as a puzzle piece.3*s wrote:I found the big empty box on the left next to the mod wheel!!
I am not a Reason user so I could be very wrong, but it looks like something for layering patches from various synths/fx and storing them as one preset. Like a chainer device of some sort.Lunch Money wrote:Now, what do you suppose it does? Looks like a mixer to me.
Ah. So nothing revolutionary or spectacular, then.cold c wrote:I am not a Reason user so I could be very wrong, but it looks like something for layering patches from various synths/fx and storing them as one preset. Well, dunno about that. :-) Consider: when 2.5 came along, I was wowed by the vocoder and the Scream unit. Turned out that the least impressive-looking of all the new units -- the Spiders -- were perhaps the most powerful and user-empowering additions, more so than the big flashy modules.Lunch Money wrote:So nothing revolutionary or spectacular, then.
Oh, yes. I'm sure of it! The suspense is killing^H^H^H^H^H^H^H enlivening me.Still, I'm sure Reason 3 will have other cool surprises.
Revolutionary? No. But I'd be awfully surprised if they would give a sneak preview of their most interesting unit. That's not really their style. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be the least "significant" (read: sexy) new device in R3.Lunch Money wrote:Ah.
