Ha, i just looked closely. It’s toward the bottom of the page in a smaller graphic, i think maybe the section where there is info about Analog Lab and new patches/browser/editing etc.Examigan wrote: Sat Sep 11, 2021 9:07 pmI didn't see it there, how did you find it?metalifuxx wrote: Sat Sep 11, 2021 8:30 pm

the false dichotomy is that you have either one or the other rather than a combination
"All this in reply about 'weight' when the orig reply made was really about strength, ease, stability, portability of a hardware keyboard vs the vst hopeful of one."

So did the SQ80 use samples for the sounds and if yes, what are the odds Arturia licensed them? Or are we going to get an emulation that uses similar samples to ballpark the sounds?
Their Emulator II doesn’t include the factory sounds from the original floppy discs from what I recall. Just a small portion if anything.

I guess I have a time machine then, because I've lived in the 70s.jojoB3 wrote: Sat Sep 11, 2021 8:50 pm - So....17 y/o?
- YOU go post on your Twitter, kid. If you can't handle the discussion then sit down or move on.
- I'm no more trying to convince any more than you/other VST-centric are trying to convince that VST and laptops are more reliable, or that today's controllers are built better and feel better than the mentioned.
They certainly are not and they certainly do not...
IMHO![]()
Put on those glasses and read my post again - I never said anything about VSTs, computers, or anything being being better or more reliable than anything else.

Extremely excited about finally getting an Ensoniq in software form.
What other old synth do you guys think we will be getting this year from Arturia?

I think one of the new products will likely be a rewrite of an existing synth like they did with the Jupiter. Hopefully the CS-80.DrGonzo wrote: Sun Sep 12, 2021 5:46 am Extremely excited about finally getting an Ensoniq in software form.

If they are doing the digital synths now, maybe they'll make a Virus one day?
Viper is great and all but it would be nice to have options
