I don't think this has been mentioned here yet - Micro Digital Reverberator, new from Korneff Audio.
https://korneffaudio.com/product/micro- ... erberator/
On offer at $19.99 until September 19th, and if you sign up for their newsletter they'll send you an extra 20% off code, so you get it for $15.99, which if you ask me is a bit of a bargain.
I needed a new reverb like I need a hole in the head, but I thought I'd give it a go at that price, and I ended up buying it straight away as it's a really good snare verb, beating all my usual suspects for that role in the track I tried it on. I haven't had a chance to try it on anything else yet, but I think it'll cover plenty of other ground as well. Worth checking out.

Seems it's based upon Midiverb I and II models if I'm guessing the correct units from the description, if so I'm in! Been looking for a Midiverb II to replace my hardware unit of old.

It's based on a microverb 1 and a midiverb II I think.Mr Arkadin wrote: Wed Sep 15, 2021 3:26 am Seems it's based upon Midiverb I and II models if I'm guessing the correct units from the description, if so I'm in! Been looking for a Midiverb II to replace my hardware unit of old.

A shame for you perhaps, but a bonus for me as I work in different studios and it’s super convenient for me to have my licenses in one place.Autobot wrote: Wed Sep 15, 2021 11:49 am this company has interesting products but all i-lok-ed. a shame.

OFC for me. for whom else? I didn't know that my word is supposed to be the standard. and I work in three studios (not counted my home-studio) and I'm fine without i-lok. everyone as she likes. jesus, folks, don't feel so easily offended.

Looks interesting but the price makes me wonder if is this an actual emulation or just a bunch of IRs wrapped in a gui?

I'm just glad Korneff finally moved over to machine-based iLok, before it was dongle or cloud-only and he seemed pretty insistent that that was how it was going to stay. Glad he changed his mind (I'm sure it was because I told him I wouldn't purchase any of his products otherwise!).

It's IRs, the dev confirmed it on GS. Good reverb though, I like it a lot.aMUSEd wrote: Wed Sep 15, 2021 4:40 pm Looks interesting but the price makes me wonder if is this an actual emulation or just a bunch of IRs wrapped in a gui?

It's IR based I believe.aMUSEd wrote: Wed Sep 15, 2021 4:40 pm Looks interesting but the price makes me wonder if is this an actual emulation or just a bunch of IRs wrapped in a gui?
I bought it and I think it sounds good and the price was pretty cheap and I'm happy to have two consumer reverbs from back in the day in my arsenal. I like the GUI also.

OK thanks - I already have Midiverb IR's so don't need this. A proper emulation would be interesting though.

Yeah I generally prefer algorithmic reverbs, and stopped buying convo reverbs years ago after buying EW Spaces and then realising it wasn't really doing it for me after a while. Since then I've been only using algos. Until I recently bought T Racks Sunset thingy for peanuts, which I'm really diggin', and now this thing, which to me immediately sounded ace for drums with just the press of a button, and if that's all it gets used for, well at about £12 it's money well spent.

The developer said somewhere that he did try both routes, and the IR one got him a lot closer to the vibe he was looking for.
