I love the pricing of it. I might get the $15 to reap all the benefits!

interesting. can act as vst host. lovely pricing scheme. I like the first appearance. let's see if this is bringing me back to software modular world. after the loss of VAZ Modular and the fact Audiomulch is not supporting 64-bit plugins nothing came out what suited my taste maybe this will stay.

Have you tried Usine? It's a very similar concept to Bespoke:Autobot wrote: Wed Sep 15, 2021 11:55 am...nothing came out what suited my taste maybe this will stay.

Did donate him the $15. Well worth it. It works with the push2 but don't know how integrated it is. Haven't tried it yet.

It's the first time ever I see Space Bar as a modifier key
But I guess if you're aiming to disrupt the market, you might as well throw all usual control conventions out of the window

yes. but I didn't liked it either. tested bespoke and I'm not into it. UI/UX/GUI is not my taste. crashed also a couple of times (win10). for more complicated stuff I like to use max/msp. but a straightforward modular synth as software is not in sight for me since VAZ Modular left us. ModulAir could it be for me when it becomes re-sizable. I like the approach of slots for connection in software way more than virtual cables. I love Bazille but the cables made me sell itantic604 wrote: Wed Sep 15, 2021 11:58 amHave you tried Usine? Seems nice, will probably pay to support.

Yup, that's my 1st concern looking at Bespoke videos (and having tried Usine demo few times). I envy the people who don't care about such things & can just enjoy the features...

haha. true. but I have to admit I'm sensitive with design in general. I love my things to be minimal in general and toned down in colors when colors not necessary. like old Bauhaus and Braun design, a lot of swiss and scandinavian stuff. But I think this is a one man development so suited to his taste probably.

Yes, Ryan is sharing something he made for himself.
Because UI design takes as much time as programming, a basic UI gives time to make some quite innovative details (like 61 note effects, and a 30 minute audio buffer)
It's extremely cool what happens when a programmer has zero interest in the "market" and can take ten years.
It will take me a while to get my head around his way of thinking....

Yeah, that's why he called it "bespoke" - it's by him, for himMichael L wrote: Wed Sep 15, 2021 12:46 pm Yes, Ryan is sharing something he made for himself.

I appreciate he made it public. nevertheless I believe it's not about time rather than approach / taste.Michael L wrote: Wed Sep 15, 2021 12:46 pm Yes, Ryan is sharing something he made for himself.

take Audiomulch v1 as an example. far from being a beauty nor does it used any advanced graphics nevertheless highly functional and eye pleasing. or Hourglass. but yeah my taste probably just differ highly.

I can not run BeSpoke.
The window closes immediately.
Windows 10 (latest update), net. 3.5 and 4.8, all Visial C ++, Python 3.9.7
I do not understand what could be the problem.
No windows log or journal failures.

tried usine ages ago and it was realllllly buggy for me on mac at the time. also kind of expensive to keep updating. i had zero success using it. i know other people find it inspiring and do get things done w/it but it wasn't for me.antic604 wrote: Wed Sep 15, 2021 11:58 amHave you tried Usine? interface for bespoke is much more my taste really. streamlined really. i don't like the background graphics but i think he's adding an option to turn them off.. in the mean time you can turn the graphic to the same color as the background with a 'global controls' module and this essentially makes the graphics invisible.
need to spend more time w/it but seems really fast to use and will be fun to patch things in it.. render.. then edit in live or whatever.
apps like this won't appeal to everyone but i'm glad they exist. i like that there's no virtual racks and patching can happen in whatever way my brain works...
