We are not commercial, nor succesful, but the harmonizations and counterpoint in our music are based on my training in old school species counterpoint by techniques (but not styles) of Fux and Jeppesen (Palestrine). The rhythms are inspired by an Afro-American percussion teacher I had in my youth who wanted Denmark to go all Africa. Gave me taste for heavy perc. Then there are some folk aspirations in the pool too. The electronic base and sound reflect my upbringing with synth pop, Berlin school, EBM/Industrial, Goa and other genres.

So, not stars, but classical music and advanced counterpoint are essential parts of our music. My guitar player is classical trained as well.

2 cents. Not worth much because we hardly represent many (if any) beyond ourselves.
